Lucketts operate touring and executive coaches ranging from 21 to 77 seats, and luxury coaches fitted with all the latest entertainment equipment. Among other assets it also operates executive Mercedes people carriers and provides coaching services for National Express.

With so many vehicles and so many deadlines, it is imperative that every Lucketts coach or people carrier is maintained well and attended to very quickly in the case of breakdown. In addition, tyre costs need to be kept to a minimum and tyres must be safe and legal at all times - enter Tructyre.
Tyre Maintenance without the headaches
Lucketts moved to a Tructyre tyre and road wheel maintenance contract in 1997. Tructyre became responsible for tyre safety and maintenance, allowing Lucketts to concentrate on what they do best - provide passenger transport to the highest standards in a competitive market place. Routine wheel and tyre maintenance is managed from Tructyre headquarters in Winchester through its service zones across the region and all Lucketts' vehicles are covered by the 24 hour Tructyre UK and European Breakdown service.
Tyre Maintenance Contract Practicalities
PPK tyre maintenance is a very practical solution for fleet operators. Each vehicle operator pays only for the materials and labour they use but with a planned programme of tyre maintenance. This greatly assists cash flow, accurate budgeting and tyre management reporting.
